| The Aloe vera used in TrueAloe Whole Leaf Aloe Vera Capsules is processed using a patented cold processing technique to ensure the Aloe vera's potency. |
When you cook raw vegetables, you destroy much of its nutritional value. It’s the same with Aloe vera- sustained heat above 110 degrees destroys potency.
The whole leaf Aloe vera powder in True Aloe™ is processed using a patented cold processing technique.
Immediately after harvesting, True Aloe™ leaves are freeze dried at a temperature around minus 120 degrees. Moisture is removed using a vacuum that causes evaporation and sublimation of the water. The result of this expensive process is a True Aloe™ whole leaf powder that has up to 200% more nutrients than regularly processed Aloe vera.
In fact, independent testing by the North Texas Research Laboratory showed that True Aloe™ contains over two times as many potent “polysaccharides” as other tested whole leaf Aloe vera powders. Polysaccharides are the compounds believed to give Aloe vera its beneficial health properties. (chart)
NatureCity™’s TrueAloe™ “Cold Processing” technique yields up to 200% more of the beneficial compounds(1) that are typically lost in other methods of processing Aloe vera products… Here’s why!
| ALOE VERA PROCESSING | NatureCity™ TrueAloe™ Patented Processing |
Traditional Aloe Vera Processing |
| Harvest to process time(2) | 2 hours | Up to 4 days |
| Whole leaf (outer leaf, rind, sap and gel) utilized for processing | YES | NO |
| Cold press, filter and homogenize outer leaf, sap, gel | YES | NO |
| Freeze-dry and vacuum pack the homogenated Aloe | YES | NO |
| Granulate the freeze-dried Aloe compound | YES | NO |
| Heat processing and drying(3) | NO | YES |
| Additives or Chemicals | NO | YES |
| (1) Scientific research has shown that the outer leaf and rind, which are discarded by most other manufacturers, contain approximately 200% more of the beneficial compounds than the inner gel of the leaf alone. (2) A shorter duration between harvesting and processing is critical as a longer time makes the Aloe oxidize and lose potency. (3) Heat destroys the value of the enzymes and harms other valuable nutrients found in Aloe Vera. |
