NatureCity may collect, maintain and process personal information you enter on our Site or provide to us in some other manner. For example, when you make a purchase from the Site, set up an account, enter information on our Site, communicate with us over the phone, email, request a catalog, use our applications on mobile or connected devices, take our surveys, participate in any promotion, interact with our social media presence, or in any other way.

Personal Information Provided by You. We collect information that you volunteer such as your name, shipping, billing, and/or business address, location information, phone number, email address, username and password information, credit or other payment card information, gender, date of birth, survey response data and other information necessary to process your order or send you a catalog.

Publicly Available Personal Information. We may also collect and store certain non-personally identifiable information via the Site. This includes without limitation the IP address assigned to the computer visiting the Site, the type of browser or device used, version and time zone setting, operation system and platform, information about your activities on our Site including the web page from which you came to the Site and the URLs that you visited on our Site, cookie identifier, products you viewed or searched for, the phone number you used to call us, pixel tag data as described below, and purchase history. This data is not linked to you. This helps us make the Site as useful for you as possible.

Cookies, Pixel Tags & Third-Party Tracking Tools.

Cookies. are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device to recognize your device and provide personalized features when you visit a website. Cookies are widely used by website owners in order to make their websites and mobile applications work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information. The cookies set by our Site are called “first party cookies” and any cookies placed by third parties are called “third-party cookies.” Third-party cookies enable third party features or functionality to be provided on or through the Site (e.g. like advertising, interactive content and analytics). The parties that set these third-party cookies can recognize your computer both when it visits the website in question and also when it visits certain other websites.

We use first and third-party cookies for several reasons. Essential or Strictly Necessary cookies are required for technical reasons in order for our Site to operate. These cookies are session cookies that are erased when you close your browser. Analytical and Performance cookies also enable us to track and target the interest of our users to enhance the experience on Site. These cookies are session cookies that are erased when you close your browser. Functional cookies improve the functional performance of our Site and make it easier to you to use. These cookies qualify as persistent cookies, because they remain on your device for us to use during a next visit to the Site. Targeting cookies record your visit to our Site, the pages you have visited and the links you have followed to recognize you as a previous visitor and to track your activity on the Site and other websites you visit. These cookies qualify as persistent cookies. Third parties serve cookies through our Site for advertising, analytics and other purposes.

Our site uses a third-party service to match browser cookies to your mailing address. We then use another company to send special offers through the mail on our behalf. Our company never receives or stores any of this information and our third parties do not provide or sell this information to any other company or service.” To opt-out of receiving our direct mail please see the instructions below. We will honor those requests, but please understand that I may take 1 to 3 weeks for such mailings to end.

Disabling Cookies. You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. Opting out of the use of cookies to deliver targeted advertising relies on information in the unique cookies placed on your web browser by our partners, so if you delete cookies, use a different device, or change web browsers, you may need to opt out again. If you choose, you can set your browser to reject cookies, or you can manually delete individual or all the cookies on your computer, by following your browser's help file directions. Additionally, you can disable or delete similar data used by browser add-ons, such as “flash cookies”, by changing the add-on’s setting or visiting the website of its manufacturer. However, if your browser is set to reject cookies, or you manually delete cookies, you may have some trouble accessing and using some of the pages and features that are currently on our site, or that we may put on our site in the future.

Pixel Tags. Cookies are not the only way to recognize or track visitors to a website. We may use other similar technology from time to time, like web beacons (sometimes called “tracking pixels” or “clear gifs”) to collect information on our Site and in email messages we may send to you that may be placed by us or third parties with whom we partner. These are tiny graphics files or code snippets, not visible to the human eye, that can enable us to recognize when someone has visited our Site or opened an e-mail including them. This allows us, for example, to monitor the traffic patterns of users from one page within a website to another, to deliver or communicate with cookies, to understand whether you have come to the Site from an online advertisement displayed on a third-party website, to improve site performance, track visitor behavior to improve user experience and to measure the success of e-mail marketing campaigns. In many instances, these technologies are reliant on cookies to function properly, and so declining cookies will impair their functioning. You can disable the pixel tag feature by changing the settings on your email client to prevent the automatic downloading of images, changing your browser settings to omit images, disabling Javascript, or there are commercial software packages available that can omit pixel tags and most advertisements.

Do Not Track Signals. Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy. To find out more about DNT you may wish to visit https://www.allaboutdnt.com/.
