Account Creation on the New NatureCity.com
Hello, my name is Jacob Geller and I'm a digital marketing strategist with NatureCity. Today I'm going to be showing you how to register your account on the new NatureCity.com.
First off, we're going to be hitting the login button in the top right of your screen. This will bring you to the normal login page that you'll be using whenever you come to site in the future. But today, we'll be hitting the text below the sign up button that reads "Existing members, please register to access your account," in red. We're going to click on the register button that will lead us to the account creation page.
From here, I'm going to enter my First name, Last name, and email address that I used with my old NatureCity account. Double check to make sure you're using the same email address associated with your NatureCity account to ensure you'll be able to view all your past orders and saved addresses. Then I'll make my new password, which can be the same as my old password, but doesn't have to be.
Then I'll hit the "Create Account" button to activate my new account. This will bring us to a "Captcha" check, which is there to make sure no robots can create new accounts on our website. So if you're a robot you can stop watching this video now... (pauses for laughter).
Now that we're back at the home page, we're going to have to go check our email to view the verification email. I just opened up my inbox here, and you can see that an email just came in. Now this email from helen is not the correct one we're looking for.
We're looking for one from "Customerservice@naturecity.com" sometimes, it may not appear in your regular inbox, so you'll have to go to your junk email or clutter to find it. My email was in my junk email. And then I can see at the top of the email it has "Customerservice@naturecity.com".
Before we go visit the new store, it's important that if your email was in the spam or junk folder, to mark emails from NatureCity as "not junk" or "not spam". This will make it so that all emails from NatureCity appear in your regular inbox. Now I'll click the blue link that says "Visit our Store".
After loading up the homepage, you'll be logged in and able to view "My Account" in the top right of your screen. As you can see, my account is here.
