Botanical Blend May Help Improve Sexual Endurance For Men

Premature ejaculation is a common sexual complaint, with as many as 1 out of 3 men reporting they experience this problem at some time. A five-ingredient botanical blend may help improve sexual endurance and stamina in men.

Sixty men with premature ejaculation participated in the study. They were given a capsule containing extracts of mucuna seed, fenugreek seed, artichoke leaf, ashwagandha root, and L-arginine or a placebo twice daily for 8 weeks. Participants were evaluated on days 1, 28, and 56 for intravaginal ejaculatory latency time, improvement in premature ejaculation profile, and Clinical Global Impression-Improvement scale.

Participants in the extract group saw significantly higher improvements in their intravagional ejaculatory time compared to the placebo group. They also saw significantly greater improvements in their premature ejaculation profile scores and the majority were in the much improved category per the Clinical Global Impression-Improvement scale.

The study was conducted by researchers from Olene Life Sciences Private Limited. It was published online ahead of print on September 2, 2020 in the Journal of Medicinal Food.
