Mix Alcohol Consumption with Water Intake

Summer brings fun and outdoor parties which may include consumption of beer, liquor or wine. Keep in mind every glass of alcohol causes your body to lose water. Combined with perspiring from heat this could lead to dehydration. Drink glasses of water in between alcoholic beverages to allow your body to properly hydrate. Avoid using alcoholic beverages as a thirst quencher, these beverages need to be sipped not gulped.
