Each TrueAsta soft gel contains 6mg of AstaReal® natural astaxanthin. We recommend taking one (1) soft gel daily for vision, muscle and endurance, skin, and cardiovascular support.
If you are interested in potential brain health benefits, or otherwise seeking more antioxidant support, we recommend taking two (2) TrueAsta soft gels daily (a total of 12mg of AstaReal® natural astaxanthin). Unless directed by your physician, you shouldn’t need to take more than 2 TrueAsta soft gels daily.
You can take TrueAsta any time of the day, as long as you take it together with a meal to help improve absorption. Astaxanthin is absorbed in the intestine and typically reaches maximum levels in the blood stream within 7-10 hours after ingestion.
The bloodstream delivers astaxanthin throughout the body where it can get absorbed by tissues and protect against free radicals produced by metabolic and environmental stress.
You can take TrueAsta together with other supplements, and in fact it may be supportive of other nutrients you take such as vitamin C for immune health, lutein for vision health, and collagen for skin health. However, if you have health concerns, you should discuss them with your healthcare provider before supplementing with astaxanthin.

How and When To Use
Each serving of TrueAsta consists of 1 soft gel. It’s recommended you take 1 to 2 servings daily, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Take the soft gel with water.
It’s best to take TrueAsta with or after meals to help with absorption.
If you take more than one serving of TrueAsta, we recommend taking each serving at separate times of day.
