The Gold Standard in Aloe Vera Capsules:
Getting the Most Out of this Legendary Plant
Doesn’t it make sense that a plant species which has managed to survive for over 3,000 years must have some pretty unique health properties?
This natural wonder is Aloe vera – and modern science has started to validate its many benefits.
Unfortunately, the rise in popularity of Aloe vera is causing certain companies to cut corners or just flat out make products that aren’t pure and potent Aloe vera. If you’ve tried Aloe vera before and didn’t think it made a noticeable difference in your health, there’s a decent chance it wasn’t real Aloe vera!
To give clients the best Aloe vera supplement possible, NatureCity® partnered with the distinguished medical doctor, Ivan E. Danhof, Ph.D, M.D., who is recognized worldwide as one of the foremost authorities on Aloe vera.
The result is TrueAloe™ - which we believe is the gold standard in Aloe vera supplements.
TrueAloe™ contains 100% USDA certified organic Aloe vera grown in ideal pollution and chemical free conditions.
Fresh and nutrient rich aloe vera leaves are hand harvested and promptly made into powder using a patented process developed by Dr. Ivan Danhof. This patented method is designed to maximize nutritional potency using both the inner Aloe vera gel and outer rind, while being virtually free of undesirable anthraquinones (which a have a strong laxative effect).
TrueAloe™ capsules have been certified with a seal of approval by the independent International Aloe Science Council (IASC) validating its content and purity.
Aloe vera's True Pioneer and NatureCity® Partner to Bring You the Best!
TrueAloe™ was developed in partnership with one of the world's foremost authorities on Aloe vera, Ivan E. Danhof, Ph.D, M.D.
While he was a Fulbright scholar in 1969 and 1970, Dr. Danhof discovered the power of herbal supplements - and has been investigating them ever since.
Dr. Danhof was the first to identify the various nutritional components in Aloe vera - hence why his many of his peers call him one of "Aloe's true pioneers." Of particular importance are his discoveries of the functional components and unique molecules in Aloe vera - such as Aloe polysaccharides.
NatureCity® is proud to use Dr. Danhof's patented process that maximizes the potency of TrueAloe™ - so you can get the most benefits.
What's more, Dr. Danhof's lab inspects and tests every batch of Aloe vera used in TrueAloe™ to ensure it meets his high standards for purity and quality. You won't get it, if it doesn't meet Dr. Danhof's standards.
Why is the Aloe vera in TrueAloe™ such high quality?
Dr. Danhof used his extensive knowledge from many years of Aloe vera research to develop a patented "farm to bottle" process that results in the highest quality Aloe vera powder you can find that's made from both the inner gel and part of the mucilage from the outer part of the Aloe leaf.
It all starts with the farm. Dr. Danhof's team personally considered over 50 locations in numerous countries before discovering the ideal location to grow Aloe vera in southeast Mexico. This pollution-free location has ideal growing conditions: the soil is rich in volcanic ash and irrigated by pure, clean rainwater and mountain springs.
In fact, the soil has never been touched by pesticides or herbicides. Geese eat the bugs and approximately 150 goats weed. As a result, it easily met and passed USDA Certified Organic standards.
Aloe leaves that are three years old - their peak potency - are hand harvested and immediately transported to the processing facility to be hand-filleted. Here, the workers delicately remove the inner gel and the desired parts of the nutrient rich outer rind.
As important, the sap which contains unwanted anthraquinone compounds (such as emodin or aloin) is not retained. This matters because anthraquinone compounds can have an unpleasant laxative effect. It is highly recommended that you only use Aloe vera supplements that exclude these anthraquinones, which is also sometimes referred to as "decolorized" Aloe vera. All NatureCity® products containing Aloe vera - including TrueAloe™ - meet this requirement.
Next, the water is removed from the retained parts of the plant using a freeze drying method that protects and preserves the valuable polysaccharides, enzymes and nutrients. No fillers or additives like maltodextrin are ever used.
Once this part is completed, the result is a pure and potent Aloe vera powder that is sent for laboratory testing to confirm it meets all desired specifications.
Subsequently, the powder is transported to Dr. Danhof's lab in the Dallas, Texas area. Dr. Danhof's lab then performs its own testing to assure the Aloe vera powder meets his and NatureCity®'s standards.
Only at this point is the powder ready for encapsulation and bottling - which is done at an NSF and USDA Organic certified facility in New Jersey. You should know that here the powder is again tested before and after packaging (the third and fourth times the TrueAloe™ powder is tested) for quality assurance purposes.
Finally, you'll be pleased to know that TrueAloe™ is certified by the independent International Aloe Science Council (IASC) validating its content and purity.
