Support Healthy Free Testosterone and Nitric Oxide Levels
As men enter middle age, many start to feel the effects of andropause, which is associated with declining levels of free testosterone in the body. This typically affects libido, energy, stamina, strength and body composition.
Many supplements are promoted to help with these issues, but frankly very few ingredients have been subjected to clinical studies to assess efficacy and safety. The one ingredient that has been studied and found to work in multiple clinical trials is a patented extract of the herb tongkat ali branded as LJ100®.
LJ100® works in a number of ways, most notably by helping to normalize free testosterone levels (also known as “bioavailable” testosterone).
Although testosterone levels in men typically start to decline at age 40, the larger issue is much of it gets trapped and isn’t available to work in tissues. In fact, by age 60 it’s not uncommon that only about 2% of testosterone is free.
This is due to increasing levels or a hormone known as SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) - which effectively takes testosterone out of circulation. LJ100® helps normalize SHBG levels which promotes an improvement in the free testosterone level.
Gynostemma helps boost nitric oxide levels in your arteries which helps promote blood flow. According to a Vanderbilt University study, gynostemma helps trigger the release of nitric oxide from artery walls - improving blood circulation.
Both maca (from Peru) and tribulus terrestris have been used traditionally to boost sexual health and energy.
LJ100®: 12 Clinical Studies Support Efficacy and Safety
Eurycoma longifolia is a medicinal plant found in South East Asia, It is commonly known as Tongkat Ali or Malaysian ginseng.
This plant has been used traditionally as an “anti-aging” remedy to help older individuals adapt to reduced energy, mood and libido that often comes with age.
LJ100® is the patented, proprietary, potent and original Tongkat Ali. LJ100® exemplifies “East meets West”- where human clinical trials and modern extraction method meets longstanding tradition.
LJ100® is standardized to 28% bioactive eurypeptides, 40% glycolsaponins and 1% eurycomanone - which represent the key nutritional compounds in Tongkat Ali root. Technologically sophisticated manufacturing methods ensure this ingredient is free from contamination - which can be a problem with other herbal products.
Originally developed by researchers at the University of Malaya and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), LJ100® has been shown in human clinical trials to help increase free testosterone and DHEA, and decrease sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG).
Healthy testosterone levels provide over 100 benefits to the body and are needed by men and women to maintain proper health.
Although testosterone levels in men typically start to decline at age 40, the larger issue is much of it gets trapped and isn’t available to work in tissues. In fact, by age 60 only about 2% of testosterone is free and readily available.
This is due to increasing levels of a hormone known as SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin) - which effectively takes testosterone out of circulation by binding to it.
LJ100® also increases cGMP and cAMP, which stimulate the relaxation phase on the smooth muscle that ultimately causes penile erection.
Further, LJ100® supports vitality by maintaining healthy IGF-1 levels, improving energy via accelerated production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and maintaining healthy androgen levels.
LJ100® Tongkat Ali has been used in 12 human clinical studies because it demonstrates efficacy while having an impressive safety profile.
LJ100® is classified under the World Health Organization, Global Harmony System, Classification of Chemicals, in Category 5, meaning no toxicity.
LJ100® is the only clinically studied Tongkat Ali extract for sexual functionality, sports nutrition and andropause.
The Finest Maca from Peru
Maca is believed to have been cultivated in the Junin plateau of Peru's Central Highlands as far back as 2,000 years ago for its aphrodisiac and fertility benefits.
The maca used in TrueMale™ is supplied by Naturex (a leading botanical ingredients company) and is branded as MacaPure™.
Naturex sources Maca in the central Peruvian Highlands, relying on partnerships with local growers. As a result of an extraordinarily well developed maca agriculture program, Naturex has access to the highest quality and most sustainably produced source of maca.
Participation in the Peruvian maca trade in this way enables Naturex to produce superior quality maca products, protects the natural Andean environment and enhances the future for some of the Andean people.
Two groups of novel compounds in maca have been identified by Naturex. These compounds are macamides and macaenes. These structures act as marker compounds for MacaPure™, ensuring its efficacy.
Preliminary experiments with animals point to these two groups of compounds as sex and energy enhancers. In the experiments, sexual activity and stamina increased significantly as the quantities of macamides and macaenes in the diet increased.
In addition, the MacaPure™ extract was tested for oral toxicity to ensure product safety. The end result was no toxicity and a complete absence of adverse pharmacological effects.
